Company History

First Venture, Inc. and Chelnick Management, Inc. are both small woman-owned businesses located in Cumming, GA. The President, Tamara J. Fernandez, has successfully performed Federal Government contracts since 1992 as both a prime contractor and subcontractor with such Federal Government Agencies as the USDA-Food and Nutrition Service, Resolution Trust Corporation, Department of Housing and Urban Development, U.S. Marshals Service, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Centers for Disease Control.

Chelnick Management
Chelnick Management, Inc. began operations in early 1995 to facilitate a Federal Government contract with the RTC performing underwriting services of potential purchasers for all types of Federal Government property.

Chelnick Management, Inc. has completed over 20,000 on-site Special Property Inspections for HUD in the States of CT, MA, ME, MI, NH, OH, RI and VT since 1998.

First Venture Inc.
First Venture, Inc. began operations in early 1997 to facilitate a Federal Government contract with the USDA-Food and Nutrition Service performing on-site reviews of grocery stores to verify their participation in the Food Stamp Program.

First Venture, Inc. has completed over 50,000 on-site grocery store reviews throughout the states of DE, FL, GA MD, MI, NJ, PA, VA, WV, Washington DC, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
